Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I work with some of the best and brightest middle school scholars from our nation's capital. My scholars have been away from the school building for about a year and a half, but they came back ready and prepared to learn. The students at my school work hard and deserve every opportunity we can give them in order to cultivate well-rounded young adults prepared for the next level. Join me in making this happen!

My Project

I believe that the walls of a school building and classroom should have a message. Students should gain inspiration and encouragement as they walk the halls. With the items requested, we will continue to create bulletin boards and displays that celebrate, encourage, and inspire our scholars to bring their A game every day! At present, some of us spend a lot of time cutting letters and displays by hand, but having a Cricut machine would help with this process tremendously. The students deserve to come to a beautiful campus, and these supplies are a great first step!
