Help me give my students an EGGciting opportunity to learn through real life. If funded, we are going to learn all about the life cycle of chicken eggs and hatch some baby chicks!

My Students

My classroom is made up of fourteen 5 and 6 year olds.

They are incredible kids who amaze me every day with their excitement for learning.

I want to bring more science into our classroom and further engage student learning by providing exciting experiments to each weekly lesson.

My Project

My students come to school with an eagerness to learn new things. I love keeping our lessons engaging with exciting projects! This project will bring a real life aspect into our learning experience by teaching the children how baby chicks are born.

The students will get to observe the eggs using an incubator that also allows us to candle them on top to see what's happening inside.

We are going to observe the entire process from fertilized egg to fluffy baby chick. This will be a project my students will talk about for years to come!
