Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are in second grade at an inner-city school. Many of my students receive learning support, reading intervention and/or speech and language services. They are fun to teach and love to learn. I am always looking for new ways to keep them engaged in learning.

My Project

All of my students are working hard to meet their academic and behavioral goals. When they meet their goals, they get to pick from our prize box which contains pencils, erasers and other small toys. We are getting low on prizes and would like some new fun things to choose from.

How exciting would it be for my students to have lots of new and fun toys and school supplies to choose from when they meet their goals?

This will help motivate them to work hard and be successful which will, in turn, help improve their math and reading skills and encourage them to do their best each day.
