This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

"Let the children play!" she said, while they were actually learning. The children love playing games and I love seeing them strengthen their skills while playing. They don't even realize they are learning!

I teach in a title one school where the greatest difficulty is getting the children to WANT to learn.

I spend most of my planning time trying to figure out the best way to motivate my students. They are not fond of learning, but they sure like to play!

My Project

I have a few educational games in my room that were donated to me through this fantastic organization. The children enjoyed playing the games when I made time during the instruction day for them to play. However, the greatest surprise was when they asked to play the games during RECESS!

That meant they LOVED the games and I LOVED to watch them have fun and learn at the same time!

It is a WIN, WIN situation! I need more games for them to play that cover the may difficult skills that Third Graders need to know! PLEASE help my students have FUN!
