My Students

Help! We have sticky fingers. Our work and materials deteriorate over time!

Our public school is a community elementary school in Brooklyn.

Our classroom is a vibrant and lively group of 5 year olds. They love hands-on learning and getting in the mix. Hands-on learning is important for student discoveries but it can be a hazard to materials!

My Project

We are requesting a laminator for our class to preserve the teacher-created learning materials and anchor charts as well as student work around the class. Most schools have a laminator in the office for the teacher's use for this very purpose, but unfortunately we don't have one.

With a new laminator we can spend less time recreating learning materials that have the sticky finger syndrome and more time showing off our students' learning and helping them grow.
