I have the best students! Really, I do! They are full of energy and are so eager to learn.
This would be surprising if you looked at their statistics.
They come from a very low income and very rural part of the state. Our school is way out in the countryside, surrounded by pastures with grazing cattle and beautiful ponds. It feels almost like a place where time stood still. The students come to school every day knowing that they are loved.
My Project
Children have always loved to have their own private place to think, write and create. Parents can relate who have witnessed their kids drape blankets over a table to create a space of their own where their imaginations can run wild.
Reading and writing go hand in hand.
This project will provide a comfortable oasis for my students to practice their developing writing skills. Everything they need will be right at their fingertips!
With enough room for two, children will learn letters, sight words, inventive spelling, and sentence structure while collaborating with their friends. Excitement about learning to write will be contagious!
