Located in Northeast Washington, DC, my school and students are creative and love being able to artistically express themselves. They especially love to create art projects related to what they are studying in their general education classes. They look forward to art class and are very appreciative (and very surprised and excited!) when they receive new materials.
Teachers spend a lot of time developing the confidence and curiosity of the students and this is furthered in the art classroom through creativity.
My Project
We need these art supplies to help start the school year. These art supplies (paper, markers, and watercolor paint) would be a great start. I have a lot of great ideas, but not enough supplies. Students love and appreciate art and I would love to continue that interest.
Last year I found a lot of my students really enjoyed 3-dimensional projects and these materials (paper mache, plaster badges, and paint) will allows us to do a lot more of that!
These variety of paints should last us throughout the year.
The donations would be greatly appreciated by the teacher, the students, and their families.
