I work at an amazing school. What makes this school so amazing? By far, the best part of this school and what makes a thirty minute commute everyday worth it, the students. Our high school has the most loyal students I have ever experienced in my eleven years of teaching. They are respectful, kind and care about the teachers at this school.
Our school is located in Cave Junction, one of the poorest cities in Oregon.
Many students live without power, go hungry or even live in tents. Although, many of these students have home lives that are not ideal, I'd like to help create an environment for students where they feel safe and all their needs are met.
My Project
My Commercial Design, T-Shirt Screen printing class, was created this year due to the supplies and equipment provided through a grant. We are running low on some supplies that keep our class going. We are reaching out to Donors to help us keep our class going and thriving.
The students would not necessarily have this opportunity if it weren't for all the help our school has received.
The students will have an opportunity to collaborate with others, design and implement those designs to screens using the emulsion that we receive through your help. Thank you so much for taking the time to review our request!
