Help me give my students a sanitary classroom with a replacement filter for our air filtration machine and Clorox spray to disinfect all of those materials we use to make class great!
My spectacular secondary students will span all the way from 9th to 12th-grade learners, and they all will be developing their social-emotional learning skills in their Advisory period. We have such a wide array of learners, from the gregarious extroverts who love debating in groups to the thoughtful introverts who like reflection and personal creativity. And everything in-between.
These students, like all students nationwide, and in our case, state-wide, have lived through trauma and hardship while also grappling with the normal social and emotional development of teenagers.
As such, they deserve to have safe spaces that take their unique needs into account while also helping them grow into a thoughtful and emotionally literate community.
My Project
This would give my students a more sanitary classroom by supplying a replacement filter for our air filtration machine. The Clorox spray would be used to disinfect all of those materials we use to make class great!
My students' learning is in both their hands and mine, and all those hands means germs!
Help us disinfect from those germs so we can keep learning and growing, but not culturing anything bacterial! In these stressful times of new variants, the less germs to worry about means the more time to think about school!
