My Students
Having the necessary supplies is essential. No one can get work done without the essential supplies. Well, for a classroom, pencils, erasers, and copy paper are the tools we use every day. These supplies are essential to being successful in school.
The inner city where my students attend school is not the best place to be.
My students are exposed to so much bad stuff, so they need a safe and warm place to be. Well, I try to make my classroom like a home for my students. I will be there for them when they need something. My students' parents work two jobs. Often, they cannot send in the basic supplies for us to get our jobs done at school. In order to make my students successful, my classroom has to be supplied with the essential tools of the trade. Most of these wonderful students qualify for free or reduced fee programs at school. They often go right to a day care after school instead of home. These students have high goals, and you can help us reach those goals.
My Project
In order to learn, students need the basic supplies like pencils, erasers and paper. These supplies will be used across the curriculum to do work. Whether it is reading, math, writing, science, health, social studies or whatever, these supplies will be put to good use. Having these supplies in the classroom ready to use will help with the flow of the instructional day. We won't have to stop to find a pencil or eraser. It will be right there. The supplies will mean that my students will continually be engaged in the curriculum they are working on. The lives of all in the classroom will be made easier by having these essential supplies in the classroom.

Imagine you go to work and find no computer or paper or pens to do your job with. Well, my students need you to help supply our job with the essential materials so we can meet our goals.
