Help Keep My Students Safe in the Classroom

My Students

Our school is a Title I School meaning more than 85% of our students are right at the poverty line. My goal is to help them succeed in everything they do. I have had the pleasure of working with the most amazing students. I love to work on social-emotional learning with games etc. My students love coming to eat lunch with me, meditate, play mindfulness games, and have meaningful discussions about life. My students are smart and have the ability to really do great things in life. All donations will benefit my students virtually this school year! Thank you for considering us!

My Project

With the time of COVID-19 being at an all-time high again, an air purifier will help make our learning environment as safe, healthy, and comfortable as possible. Slowing the spread of the virus will not only help prevent us (myself and my students) from passing the virus between one another, but also from taking it home to our loved ones. Protecting our loved ones, grandparents, immunocompromised loved ones, friends, and neighbors is of the utmost importance!

Along with masks and constant, diligent sanitizing, an air purifier will help to keep the air in our classroom circulating with is crucial in keeping the virus at bay.

Sometimes with 20+ students in my room, social distancing is sometimes just not possible. An air purifier will allow for myself and my students to feel safe with each other and safe going home to babies, grandparents, and those who are most vulnerable to contracting the virus. This will provide myself and students with more protection.
