Help Keep Children Warm During The Winter

Help me give my students jackets and sweatshirts to keep them warm in the winter.

My Students

I teach 18 wonderful children in the New York City area. Many of these children come from low-income families and do not have the resources to enhance their academic skills.

These children are fun-loving, full of life, and they deserve to have the resources they need to help them succeed in school.

We have a great school, but it's hard to get the funds for the materials we need in the classroom due to budget cuts. You can help make a difference in these children's lives.

My Project

My children need sweatshirts to keep them warm during the winter. Many of my children wear t-shirts and they are cold. Sometimes in the classroom, they are shaking. They put their jacket on in the classroom. I have asked their parents if they could dress them in long sleeves and they said they don't have any sweaters or long sleeves shirts. They can't buy them right now because they don't have the funds to do so. I thought I would reach out to DonorsChoose and see if I could get them some. Thank you for taking the time to read our proposal.
