My Students
Each child in my classroom loves learning, although the method and environment in which they learn best vary greatly. I have many learning strategies that I use. Small group work, and flexible seating are examples of this to ensure that each student's needs are met. They are an incredible group of kids, and I am so lucky and thankful to be their teacher and supporter of all of their needs.
My Project
HELP! We need to learn our letters and letter sounds in order to learn to read. Reading is the key to a successful carrier in school. Children come to school with various backgrounds and various prior knowledge. The materials needed in a Kindergarten classroom need to be very basic to advanced.
The goal is to meet all the learners needs when learning to read.
From basic letter recognition to sounds to words. With the products I have chosen I can set up my station tubs to meet all the levels of prior knowledge.
With social distancing this year it is very helpful for students to use materials that are assigned to them for several days before changing out materials. Teachers are in need of many more materials than before. I appreciate any help to fund my letter and word stations.
