My Students

My classroom has a dry-erase board that is stained and it is hard to write on.

I have thirty-two wonderful third graders who love to learn and enjoy coming to school.

They like to be challenged and they are inspiring writers, mathematicians, scientists, and artists. They like to work individually and to collaborate with their peers.

My Project

During the day, there are many times when I need to write on a dry erase board: to share directions with my students, to model how to do something, or to let them know what is the next homework assignment. Also, my students will often use the dry erase board to share their work, such as when we are sharing multiple ways of solving math problems. Since the requested board is on an easel I will also be able to move it to different areas in the classroom depending on what we are doing.I also need some new dry erase markers.

With your help, I can make sure that my fantastic third graders have everything they need to have a great year, full of opportunities to learn.
