I love that my students have a love and eagerness for learning. We are in the 21st century and most things now are technology based. My students love to use the laptops and iPads whenever possible. You can see by the smiles on their faces that they love learning. The students at my school have a desire to move forward with todays technology and become the best that they can.
There are over 800 students in my school and trying to teach them all to use there finger on the keyboard mouse pad is a lot of work.
I have so many kids that complain that their fingers are sore and it's too hard. Being able to provide them with a mouse will make it so I have more teaching time with them because they can easily click on what's needed.
Kids these days are so use to being able to just use their finger for all electronics that most don't even know how to use a mouse. I want to be able to teach my students the skills they need to use a mouse while working on hand eye coordination.
Learning these skills I feel will help these kids in the long run by easily being able to navigate through a computer and clicking on the information they need within seconds.
I also believe that they will listen and learn more when they don't have to concentrate so hard on pressing the keyboard mouse pad. Clicking quickly allows them pay more attention to me as I teach them what they need.
