My students need Sony headphones to help them learn and listen to activities at their own paces.

Our school is one of 5 middle schools in our city in Virginia. We pull from some of the lowest socioeconomic neighborhoods for our school. Some of our students come from backgrounds so difficult to imagine and still manage to make it to school. School provides consistency, social interactions, and safe learning for our students to be successful.
I teach at a Title 1 school where 100 percent of our students receive free breakfast and lunch.
Our students are entertaining, passionate, and search for acceptance that is found from teachers, staff, peers, and communities. We want to help our students be successful both academically and recreationally as we help mold their talents into hobbies and future goals. We offer a few clubs like SGA and Spanish club and sports each season like basketball, cheer, wrestling, softball, baseball, tennis, track, and cross country. We also try to focus on the arts with band, art, choir, and strings classes during the day as electives.
My students need over-the-ear headphones to be able to hear when using our school's technology. Having headphones in the classroom enables students to interact with audio and videos related to subject content individually at their own pace without the distractions of others around them. I would like to have a small group supply of durable headphones the students can use when completing activities for our class. This will help them get differentiated help as they complete different activities and watch tutorials.
Investing in this project will not only help my current group of students, but also many groups that haven't yet arrived at my door.
Thank you for supporting education and thinking of my kids! We really appreciate you helping us hear!
