My Students

My students come from a low-socioeconomic area where education is truly priceless. Our school is 90% free and reduced lunch. Most students come from rough backgrounds and I'm given the opportunity to offer them a second chance at a successful life. It's important to me to learn my students' learning styles to be able to help them reach their goals academically. Flexible seating will help achieve that goal by allowing them to choose the place where they complete their best work.

My Project

Help our classroom to become more technologically savvy!

This iPad will be used as a listening center for students to listen to stories while they read along.

Then, they will ask and answer questions about the story. Most students do not have a parent who reads to them at home. This iPad will give them extra support when reading a story. This will also help improve student vocabulary!

Listening to reading is an amazing way to build student vocabulary, confidence, and reading ability! The above iPad will be used daily in the classroom and you will receive pictures of the iPad being put to good use!
