Hello, I am a New York City fourth grade teacher. I have been teaching fourth graders for 5 years. I really enjoy teaching this grade. I teach a great group of students. My students have a love of reading and most of them have greatly improved in their reading. I am requesting a much-needed donation of leveled guided reading books starting with level R. This collection of books will help my students to become strategic and independent readers. Once they have learned a skill taught in class they will be able to practice with the books donated. These books will be at their academic level, which will help them become better readers. I am trying to provide my students with books they can enjoy and that will aide them in becoming confident readers. Having this collection of books will help my endeavor. Thank you in advance for your help.
