We are a small school in a small rural county. My kiddos are some of the brightest, sweetest, kindest kids I've met. They are friends with everyone, we are a family here.
They are energetic, imaginative, smart, inquisitive and creative.
I serve all children in our school as their school nurse. They are individuals with common interests and goals, they want to succeed at school. They hate to miss a day due to sickness.
These kids are from the poorest section of the state, but that doesn't mean their education is less important than those from the richest areas.
My Project
We are a low income area. The funding for our school clinic is very diminutive. With your donations you can help to keep our kids healthy and in class.
My students deserve to be healthy and in class and by donating to our project, you get to have a hand in keeping them that way.
When one gets hurt or sick, our clinic is the first step in getting them back to class. The interaction with the school nurse makes healthcare less scary for these kiddos.
When treated in the school health clinic, kids miss less classroom time than if they had to be sent home for every tummy ache and bumped head.
I am asking for a wheelchair, an ice maker, gloves and storage/organizational bins. These are essential items that our school can not afford but my kids need. Please help.
