My Students
My students are middle schoolers who attend a struggling, North Carolina public school. My art classroom serves approximately three hundred intelligent, hardworking kids each year.
They are generous and kind people who dive into life with such genuine fun - the best, most deserving bunch of loons.
The students and I are fulfilling our dreams together; each opposing side of realization.

My Project
Every art room goes through bunches and bunches of drawing paper. By donating paper to our classroom, the learning community will be able to focus our limited funds on other, longer term needs such as a pottery wheel.
Paper is one of the most essential materials in any art room; it is very difficult to find enough every year!
My students will use the paper for lots of stuff (not just drawing). We use it for painting practice, big origami, collage, printmaking, oil pastel, ink and bunches of other media. The paper in this order would be enough to last ALL YEAR LONG!
