Help me give my students and their families care packages that contain laundry supplies, dish soap, cleaning sponges and other basic essentials to be able to provide a clean and healthy home for each student.
My classroom is a plethora of diversity. My students are from racially, ethnically, culturally, and linguistically diverse families and communities of lower socioeconomic status. Meeting the needs of all of my students equally is what pushes me daily to do the very best with what I have and try to obtain what I don't.
Meeting needs equally means that each student gets what they need as an individual regardless of how big or how small.
My students range in age from 4 to 5 years old and they are the most loving, exciting, and eager to learn group of kids. They love to explore and they love to ask questions to learn about the world around them.

Students will benefit from this project when they are able to come to school with their best foot forward because they are clean, healthy, and, undistracted by situations that may occur if they did not have these supplies

This project would also provide first-hand look and lessons to very young students on being helpful, giving, and community. This project would be used as an example of many lessons to come.
