My Project

I like that my students are able to identify various reading strategies that help them acquire and retain information such as listening to an article for comprehension instead of only reading the information. I have seen a clear improvement in comprehension and enthusiasm when certain students have the option to have an article read to them. I love that I am able to find ways to address the diverse needs of my students. Daily I have students ask me for headphones to help them listen to text. I teach in a big city and our budgets are very tight.
