My students need four exercise ball chairs to help them focus.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
Have you ever felt like a million things were going on and you can't focus? My students feel like this all the time but have the challenges of ADD/ADHD to hinder their learning. Focus is a hard thing to do when you have ADD/ADHD, but by having these balls, the students could focus on learning!
I have the best students ever!
We are a public school, and I teach K-5 students with behavior disorders. This can range from ADD to Schizophrenia. There are 22 students on my caseload, and we preach community in the room. They face so many challenges daily, why not have the extra tools in class to make it easier? My students are caring, helpful, energetic and most of all want to fit in, like everyone else.
Exercise balls help the students be able to wiggle around freely and still focus on the task presented. There are many teachers out there who have tried them and noticed great improvements. If it can help students focus better, I will find a way to get them eventually!
Many students with behavior disorders struggle with multiple issues throughout the day.
These balls can be a sense of calming. They can also bring out the social piece that so many of my students struggle with. What other classroom has these balls? None at our school, so my students would get to try them out and be a positive influence in the school! Thank you!
