Help Flood Our Classroom with Books!

Help me give my students a variety of new books to replace our reading library that was ruined in a flood.

My Project

This has been a frigid winter in Coeur d'Alene and unfortunately the pipes in our building froze and burst, causing a flood in my wing of the building. My entire classroom library was lost. I had an amazing collection of books that I have collected during my 26 years of teaching. My students and I are quite devastated by the loss of our library.

First grade is a pivotal year for learning to read.

We need more books in our classroom to help my students become amazing readers. This is the time of year when a lot of first graders start finding their love of reading. Please help us rebuild our classroom library to give my 27 students more access to books!
