Help First Graders Love to Read!

Help me give my students a new and improved classroom library. Our current library is in need of new books, and new seating. The students love to sit in the library and read!

My Students

1st graders are the best in the business! I teach reading, math, and science to a group of 1st graders here in Ogden, Utah! We are located close to the beautiful mountains of Utah. It is never a boring day with our class!

They are kind, inquisitive, and crave knowledge any way they can get it.

In my class, the students try their best and want opportunities to learn. We try to include many different learning strategies, group work, and activities to make sure that each student's needs are met! They are truly an amazing group of students. I am so excited to be working with them this year!

My Project

This project will allow my students' flexible seating for reading and other classroom activities. It also gives them more choices in library books and will help them find books that they are interested in. During this pandemic, their language skills have suffered greatly. This project will help them gain that love for reading that they have missed and will help them gain memorable reading experiences.

First graders love to read!

This project will give them the skills to find new books, and practice their reading and communication skills. This project provides them with new seats to choose from in the classroom, a more organized library, and many more book choices that were not available to them before. They will be so excited!
