Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We do not have lockers in the middle school I work at, so students tend to carry everything in their backpacks, weighting them down so much that they make the chairs back heavy.

By helping me create a Backpack Zone where they can store their bags in a neat and orderly fashion, you will be helping these students focus on learning rather than picking up their chairs every time they need to move around the table as they work on group projects.

In my classroom, the students participate in project-based learning. This means that nearly every assignment mean working with team members in the classroom. As the students walk around the table or the classroom, they are being distracted by having to fiddle with their backpacks as their chairs tip over. Having this Backpack Zone will help mitigate this issue as we continue to develop the minds of the future generation of leaders.
