I am a first year teacher teaching kindergarten in a Title I school. My students and I have finally found our groove and are getting into the swing of school. We are finding so many different resources to learn and use together. My students are so sweet, energetic, and loving. However, these babies go through their fair share of pencils, crayons, and glue sticks. Where do they all go?? I really have no idea. Buying individual boxes of crayons for them isn’t working anymore. I want to try a new tactic and give them more responsibility with their supplies.
My Project
Individual crayon boxes are no longer working for my class. My sweet kiddos are running through so many crayons. I feel like my assistant is always having to dig through crayons, clean then up, and give them new ones. I want to help both my classroom and my assistant by providing them with an assorted box of crayons. This will, hopefully, make giving out new crayons a lot easier. My students will benefit from all these new glue sticks, card stock, and paper clips I’m requesting. We have so much more planned for the year, and in order to achieve those plans, we need new supplies. Help us finish out this amazing year strong!
