My students need colored centers. With the use of a colored printer I will be able to print out bright colorful centers.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students are our future. My school is a Title I school. My students come from a very poverty driven community were 100% of our students receive free breakfast and lunch. I know my students want to be successful but are afraid they do not have the tools to do so. I want my students to know they can and will be successful and I want to give them the tools to do just that. I want to open more doors for them by including technology into their learning and by giving them every chance to succeed as possible.
My Project
With a colored printer I will be able to do so much with my kindergarten class. We will be able to print out book labels that are fun and easy to read. I will be able to print out fully colored centers which will be used to help engage the children in learning through play. The centers will be used for reading (phonics, sight words, blending, rhyming, etc...) and math (addition and subtraction, counting, patterns, etc...). Using color will help catch the kids' eyes instead of the borrowing old gray scale. Using colored ink over gray ink will also help the kids differentiate the difference with patterns and pictures needed for matching.
