Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

If you want to see terrific kids, help fund our project and see the pictures of my class. These children are so fun-loving and full of life. Each day, not only are they learning, I am also learning new things from them.

Many of these children come from low-income homes.

It is very hard for them to get supplies and the items they need to help them in life. They deserve to have the very best. They attend a wonderful school; however, like many schools, money has become an issue.

My Project

Children need to have healthy snacks throughout the day. The children like to have soup when it is cold outside for snack. We have be able to get supporters to get us soup in the past. The children like to drink low calorie gatorade. We try to keep the sugar calories down that we drink in the juice. Many children need more than just water and milk that is served for lunch. Many children do not like the milk. No child should ever have to be thirsty during the day. We also need a fruit and nut snack pack. This is a filling snack that will keep the children bellies full throughout the day. Thank you for taking the time to read
