My Students

My students are a fun, creative group with a variety of strengths and interests. Each day, my students participate in many different types of learning activities. I love to see my students active and engaged in their learning, and I long for my classroom to be a place where many resources are available to them.

I am blessed to share my classroom with 5th graders who are creative, inquisitive, and eager to learn.

They are bright, fun, and caring individuals who deserve all the best in life, especially in regards to education.

My Project

Good books are essential to fostering a love of reading. We need a variety of books for our classroom library to help make great readers and writers. I desire for my group of students to be avid readers, devouring book after book. In order to achieve this goal, they need to have access to quality texts.

I long to have a classroom full of great literature that reaches every one of my diverse learners.

Many students do not have access to books at home, so school is their only opportunity to find great books to read. This assortment of books will ensure that students find texts that they can engage with, relate to, and fall in love with.
