I am a second grade teacher at an elementary school located in downtown Raleigh, NC. This is my first year teaching at this school, as well as my first year teaching second grade. Our classroom library is limited. Most of the children in my class have read almost every book that I have in the library. My students love to read, and I would hate to see them lose their enthusiasm for reading due to a lack of books. I would like to have books in my classroom for my students to read in their free time. I am hoping that by getting books that are current, the children will be more excited about reading.
