My Students

I am a Kindergarten teacher with 26 students in a low socioeconomic area. All students receive free breakfast and lunch and our transiency rate is 44%. I have a very diverse class that is eager to learn. Currently we only have 2 computers in the classroom. There are several learning activities I would love to do as a small group session with 8 students at a time but I do not have the resources. Please help us get some technology for our classroom!

My Project

I am requesting 8 Kindle Fire tablets to help my students with reading and math assignments in a small group and individually. We will be able to work in groups and use them for center activities as well. This is a great way to engage my students and to show them the material in different ways to ensure their understanding of it. Please help us!

Technology is a very important and necessary part of education.

Our class would benefit in so many ways with the Fire Tablets. We can use them for group work and for centers in both reading and math.
