My Students

My students are the reason why I love teaching kindergarten. They strive to follow three simple rules everyday: Be kind, Be safe, Be a good listener. They are eager to learn, excited to be challenged, inquisitive and full of joy. I am blessed to be their first teacher and lay the foundations for reading, writing, math, and good citizenship. I also feel fortunate to work in a district with highly-talented teachers and staff that ensure students are prepared for unlimited possibilities.

My Project

With the limited amount of board space in my class, this easel would be the main focal point for my instructional lessons when teaching reading and writing. It would be the perfect space for students to refer back to when learning their sight words, letters, reading strategies, and sentence structure. It will also be a fun way to motivate students to participate by using magnetic letters and markers on the dual sided easel. The possibilities are endless with an easel in the classroom! Thank you in advance for bringing a smile to a teacher and her students with your generosity!
