My Students

We live in rural Oregon in a very special small town. Many of our families work in agriculture and our community is a great place to live. My students are special because of their love of learning and their kindness towards each other. We enjoy learning and working with our friends! In our classroom, students are engaged learners and always accept the challenge to persevere and learn new things. My students are hard workers, work towards always having a growth mindset, and enjoy coming to school.

My Project

My students love reading! Our classroom library needs more books at my students’ level to support their learning. This is my first year in this classroom, so our library needs more books!

Many of my students have shown an interest in graphic novels and comics - these books are a great opportunity for more books that they already love to be added to our classroom library.

Additionally, this set comes with a fun opportunity to extend their learning and learn how to create their own comics.
