My Students
The kindergarten students at Sheldon Early Learning Academy are absolutely wonderful. They are eager to learn and love to share their new learning with others.
Our students are setting the foundation for a lifelong love for learning.
Even though they come from different background and many diverse cultures, they still deserve to have various opportunities to learn and grow in order to become successful in life. I am blessed to work with such a dynamic group of precocious five and six year olds!
My Project
This year, I am teaching a Dual language class. Half of my students are learning English as their second language. Having the phonological awareness materials will give them just what they need in order to be successful. The Phonemic Awareness listening Activities will give them a chance to hear what the letters should sound like and will give them a chance to practice in a fun way. The Phonemic Awareness materials will also provide a variety of resources for them to practice English sounds with their peers.
If I am granted the requested materials, my students will have a smoother transition into acquiring English as their second language.
My students will love using the large stamps to stamp out letters or words!
