Help me give my students an opportunity to record and produce quality videos.

My school is an amazing group of 142 diversified & dedicated learners that strive to be the best they can be. I am amazed every day at what these students can accomplish with so little! We are a STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) academy with grades 6-12 economically disadvantaged students that want to excel at everything they do.
The goal of this project is to provide students with digital video and computer animated film production knowledge and skills as well as genuine client and customer service skills. This is accomplished through promotional videos to promote our school growth and enhance the success of the district. This project would not only give students the technical skills needed to create, edit and produce quality film and videos, but would also provide public speaking skills in front of a camera. The green screen kit would provide skills creating digital backgrounds, animation, as well as manufactured digital photography. The high definition video camera, external audio condenser and tripod would assist our students with creating a quality product that would be comparable to high-end film production. The digital media technology program services over a third of the students on our campus with equal amounts of each gender benefiting from the skills learned. These students are considered Title I and low socioeconomic students that understand what it is to struggle and to push the boundaries of what they can become. These students are also highly motivated to not only succeed, but to become extraordinary.
In this highly digital age, it is more important than ever to prepare our students with tools that will not only carry them into their future, but will provide them with skills that will make them more marketable in any career path that they choose.
The digital age is our future, and these skills help our students compete with other students for highly needed scholarships and college acceptance.
