My Students

I primarily teach 7-12 Choir, but I also teach 5-6 Grade General Music. I want to give my students the ability to find what they are passionate about, music or otherwise. Being a part of a choir can be a great opportunity for students to feel welcome and a part of something special while they are at school.

Music can give students a reason to want to stay in school and be successful.

If I can help them to feel at home, while also teaching them various aspects of music (history, theory, vocal training, team-work, new experiences, open-mindedness, etc.) I will have accomplished what I want to as a teacher.

My Project

We are asking for 2 sets of speakers to go into our Middle School & High School choir room. I know it seems like a little thing for a lot of money, but we listen so frequently in the choir! To other recordings, to our own, to better ourselves.

The Middle School Choir room currently has no speaker system, and the High School choir room has a broken system with one speaker that barely works.

We have no funding to give us the aide we need to be able to listen to beautiful recordings of other choirs or our own recordings. Please consider donating today!
