My Students

I have 2 classes filled with eager learners!

Even with the many changes of this school year, these kids have persevered anytime something was thrown their way.

They are resilient! I could not have asked for a better group of kids!

My Project

My classroom library is lacking nonfiction books. Students don't have many options and have read most if not all of them already. They need to be exposed to various genres including biographies and informational texts.

We need more options in a variety of reading levels to support the diverse student needs within my classroom.

I have students with reading levels that range from kindergarden to third grade. Books are expensive and there is no way I can afford these books on my own.

From life on a coral reef to exploration in space, my students need books that interest them and boost their desire to read. This project will add over 80 nonfiction books to my library and will reinforce concepts learned in Science and Social Studies!
