My Students

Heath singers come from a variety of cultural and financial backgrounds. We combine our different experiences into six choirs from sixth to twelfth grades: middle school girls, middle school boys, high school men, high school women, advanced high school women, and an advanced mixed ensemble. The music we study reflects our diversity; we sing pieces from all eras, cultures, and beliefs.

Heath singers are passionate, dedicated, and talented artists.

We have consistently qualified for OMEA state contest for the past decade and we continue to challenge ourselves technically and artistically.

My Project

Our current choir folders are literally falling apart. New folders will give the students a safe place to store their music and the sense of pride and success attached to having something new and clean.

New folders will help the students to stay organized, improving the efficient use of classroom time.

Students will no longer have music falling out. They will be able to quickly access their class materials.

The 88 new folders will be stored in a secure cabinet. They will be used for many years, by many students. Any salvageable leather folders that we currently have will be used by middle school students; an upgrade from their current paper folders.
