My Students
My students are starting their own digital marketing agency for the Kansas City area and need your help to be competitive. The students at our high school are from low-income areas and attend schools that have difficulty finding teachers and resources. Our school is a technical branch that buses students from their high school to ours in order to learn practical job skills.
My classes will specifically focus on digital marketing and video production for local businesses in the Kansas City area.
Our objective is to teach students the skills they need to work for an advertising agency or corporate digital marketing department. Another important objective of our class is to promote locally owned businesses and charities in our area. We will be managing the businesses and charities as our clients.
We will be creating email marketing campaigns, social media posts, and videos to capture the essence of being a locally owned business in Kansas City. Help us make our space bright, creative, inspiring, and technologically capable. The investment we make now will empower our students for years to come in the workforce or when they open their own business.
My Project
I have many students at home in the same room as siblings. My hope is to provide them with a pair of headphones for each student in my class.
With headphones, my students can really focus and hear what’s being said by me and their classmates.
I’ve tried getting headphones like this for the classroom that are comfortable and functional. My students learn from online tutorials in the classroom as well. So when they return, there will be used just as much. The microphone will also help pick up their voices at home so I can more easily answer their questions.
