Help me give my students headphones that they need to use their technology for programs within our District, such as Smarty Ants, First in Math and Zearn.
Hi, my school is in a high poverty area and have gone through Hurricane Michael two years ago and the COVID-19. We are trying to come back from crisis, but with our school being used as a shelter and our supplies being diminished, we need funding for class resources.
This project is to ensure that all students in second grade are able to get materials that will help them connect back to their school and classmates since Hurricane Michael and COVID.
We have around 130 students in second grade and would like to be able to purchase Chromebooks that would enable them to be a part of our upcoming "Famous American" project. With this project all students dress as their famous American and tell their story. However, our parents have experienced total loss on homes, personal property, and vehicles. Without your donations, we will not be able to make this project happen this year. We would love to be able to give our students a feeling of normalcy. We were out of school for over a month and we would like to see our remaining year to be consistent and without concerns.
My Project
Headphones will be used with programs assigned by our District such as Smarty Ants, Study Island, First In Math and Zearn.
The students will use the headphones to record their voices with mics for the Smarty Ants program.
We are in need of these headphones and students will be better prepared to work the programs. Students use technology every day and must record their voices, so they can hear how they sound. This project will make a difference in the students' lives, because they will have available equipment to use and will be able to move forward in the programs.
