Mrs. Nunez from Margate FL is requesting instructional technology through DonorsChoose, the most trusted classroom funding site for teachers.
My students need wireless headphones to listen to while using our ipad technology in the classrooms.

My first graders are at a large Title I elementary school in Florida. The school is also a STEM Museum Magnet school. We have worked hard to get students excited about science and technology learning while still giving them important reading skills. Imagine learning to read and write through science and engineering activities with hands-on engaging activities happening every day.
These amazing first graders come in eager to learn and share their ideas and always want to use the resources I have waiting for them in the classroom.
They would love to explore more and more as the year progresses. As a teacher in the school I try to focus on pulling out the best in student learning and tailor their educational needs as best I can with the resources I have. I am always looking to improve their learning environment.
The students in my class have been fortunate enough to have the opportunity to use iPads every day. These iPads have reading, math, coding, and science apps on them for reinforcing skills. They are also used to take pictures and video of students reading and completing field work outside during our STEM projects. These wireless headphones will help students to focus better during work times using the iPads. They will not have wires that tend to break and cause headphones to stop working.
The use of wireless headphones also allows them to read or speak into the iPads when videoing or listen to online text for research during our STEM projects.
While using the headphones students can be engaged and practicing important skills they need for the next grade level.
