This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are the future of America, and I remind them of that every single day. The neighborhoods my students live in might not have the greatest support. At school,​ I strive to let them know they always have me in their corner and a classroom full of friends backing them up.

My class of 25 amazing students is the best part of my day every day.

They are such wondrous students with so many interests. When you ask them what they want to be when they grow up their answers range from "A Teacher" to "A Chef". They don't see their shortcomings, or how expensive college is. They see a bright future with no limitations.

My Project

Living in the 21st century my students spend a good portion of the day on computers. Lexia, Get Epic, Reflex Math, etc are all programs designed to give my students individualized instruction in a variety of subjects. If my students can't hear these programs they can't learn from these programs.

The headphones I've been given are cheap, break easily, and short out with one wrong move.

Due to having 25 students on laptops at once I can't let them not use their headphones. So some of my students are stuck only being able to hear from one side, hear partially, or not hear at all.
