This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

The students that I have coming through the computer lab come from different backgrounds and socioeconomic households all over the city. They are each special and unique in their gifts and talents. Fine arts and creative thinking are the main focus here at this campus. Every student that comes through my computer lab has had growth on the different programs we use. We do required programs on computers such as IStation and Imagine Math, and it is important to be able to hear correctly to be successful.

My Project

I am the computer lab teacher for kindergarten, first, and second grade, and having working headphones in this class improves the students' ability to hear the lessons they are being taught and the tests they are required to take. This is a shared lab with all the classes in these grade levels rotating through the lab, and each student depends on being able to hear their lessons. Without proper working headphones, the students cannot listen to the instructions which can affect their test scores. Please help give these students new headphones to continue their growth and learning! Your help would benefit our students tremendously!!
