Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

I teach at a Title I school where the population is very diverse. The student body consists of 391 students, grades K-4 and Sp. Ed. There are 96 African Americans, 168 Hispanics, 99 Whites, 28 Multi-Racial. All of my students are free lunch and most come from single parent households.

It is safe too say that I have a very diverse classroom.

My Project

Providing my students with microphones and mice will give them tools that are much needed to help them use the Chromebooks that are used in our corporation.

Chromebooks are used for eLearning days, Reading and Math subscriptions, and for completing activities used in centers during small group time.

The headphones will give the students the ability to concentrate on the task that they are engaged in. The mice will allow them to navigate the sites and assignments more easily and more time efficient. The mice will also eliminate the difficulties manipulating the cursors.
