Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
This year I have two students who have partial hearing impairments, so I need a sound system to help them learn. The sound system will not only help them, but will also help the other 68 students I teach, by bringing my voice to a level that everyone can clearly hear and understand instructions.
I teach at a low socio-economic school where we have about 95% who qualify for free lunch.
This year I have two students who have partial hearing loss, so it is difficult for them to hear when I am teaching. All my students are so special, because they want to learn and everyday they try to give me their very best. This makes me want to give back to them the very best I can, so I want to get them a sound system that will benefit all my students to hear during instruction. It will also help my students read better by being able to hear each other read and increase on-task behavior.
My Project
By having this sound system, it will empower not only my hearing impaired students, but all my students to clearly hear what I am teaching during math, science, reading, language arts and social studies. By having this Audio System, it will also create a whole room audio immersion that will increase on-task behavior and attention to verbal instruction. Plus, improve the ease of listening and teaching. I want all my students to be successful in learning and by having this system it will help me, help them become better life long learners.

This is a must for a classroom teacher, who wants to be best teacher she can possibly be, as well as for her students who deserve the best instruction they can receive.
