Help me give my students a classroom supply of headphones to use with the necessary technology at school and to help relieve the cost of headphones on families.
My classroom is full of wonderful fifth graders who are eager to learn and are full of potential. We are a Title I School with 70% qualifying for free or reduced-price lunch.
My goal as their teacher, role model, and support system is to help them pave the way to their successful futures.
My students are ready for and deserving of a successful year. Not only am I able to teach them and watch them learn and grow daily, but they are teaching me every day they walk into the classroom. My goal is to build a community within our classroom that provides a positive learning environment where the students feel safe, comfortable and excited to learn.
My Project
My classroom needs a supply of headphones for my students to use. We use a lot of technology in our curriculum where headphones are needed, as well as for state and school mandated tests. Many of my students don't have headphones of their own, and we don't have a large enough supply at the school to go around, so many times we are short on headphones.
Help me relieve the cost of headphones on families and offer a classroom supply for all my kids to use!
Having a bucket of headphones in the classroom would relieve the stress of trying to find enough headphones for all of my students as well as the embarrassment of students not having their own headphones from home.
