I have a classroom full of students who WANT to learn. Passionate students are the best! My class is made up of 25 multi-cultural students from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds. Over 1/3 of my class is low income. I also have several students with IEPs and other varying needs.
Students in my class are excited about being exposed to new technology and learning to use new things.
Our district has several new initiatives in place to ensure new technologies are being brought in the years to come!
My Project
Soon after the first of the year, we will be getting Chromebooks for EVERY student to use in their daily learning!
I'm so excited to incorporate this technology into our classroom, but with the new technology provided by the district, come other needs/expenses.
Students will need reliable and sturdy headphones to use on a daily basis. To make sure these headphones stay in good working condition for at least a couple years, we also need a safe storage space for out headphones and tech needs.
The rolling carts with drawers will provide a safe place for each student to store the provided headphones and other technology needs. On top of each cart will sit the district provided charging stations for our laptops. Perfect for our needs.
