My students need Sony headphones for my classroom. We watch many educational videos, use educational websites, and use a keyboarding program that requires volume.

My Students

We have 900 students at our middle school who are eager to learn. We are a great community with a diverse student population. I teach all levels in 6th, 7th, and 8 grade. We also have a very large ESL population. Many of our students receive free or reduced-price lunch. Such a diverse population makes teaching very rewarding. I am able to reach out to many different students who are willing and eager to learn. Most class sizes range from 26 to 30.

My Project

All students are in need of headphones in my classroom. Students use many interactive websites and educational videos. Our computers do not have built-in speakers so it makes it impossible to hear anything while they view educational tutorials, watch videos, or practice keyboarding. Headphones are essential for success.

New headphones will improve learning in the classroom.

Students will also use keyboarding software, to learn proper keyboarding techniques. This is a valuable skill for all students and will impact their future in many ways.

ELL students can use websites to improve their English skills by using multi-sensory and language-based websites. This will lead to proficiency in English.
