My Students
Our library is the go-to place when students need a good book to read.As a school with low income/high poverty, our students are faced with many reading challenges. I am striving to provide the resources they so desperately need to be successful.
The students here are hard-working kids, ready for a challenge of a good book, and a GREAT reading experience.
We have many students that require extra reading help, a few with sight problems, and with a creative project like this, we will be able to inspire all students at our school to continue on a path of academic excellence.
My Project
These audiobooks with the CD players will be checked out everyday from the library, providing that extra boost not only to students who need more help in reading, or for those who have seeing deficits, but to all students here at school. We do have some audiobooks already, but desperately need the CD players and batteries for use with them.
With the donation of the CD players, batteries, and the audiobooks, students will be furthering their academic achievements while gaining confidence in themselves.
By being able to provide these wonderful resources, all students will be able to meet their individual reading goals, and make great strides to academic greatness.
